I was born in Siena (Italy) in November, 1992.
I received the B.Sc. degree cum laude in Management Engineering from the University of Siena in 2014.
I received the M.Sc. degree cum laude in Management Engineering from the University of Siena in 2016 with a thesis entitled "Energy storage sizing in active distribution networks".
Since 2016 I am a Ph.D. Student at the Department of Information Engineering and Mathematics (focus on Automatic Control and Electrical Power Systems) under the supervision of Prof. Antonio Vicino and Prof. Simone Paoletti.
From January to May 2019, I was a visiting Ph.D. Student at the Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering, University of Colorado Boulder, CO, USA, under the supervision of Prof. Emiliano Dall'Anese.
My research activity is currently focused on:
Energy storage systems for integration of renewables in electricity distribution networks;
Stochastic optimization and scenario reduction techniques for decision made under uncertainty;
Technical validation of Active Demand products for Demand Response aggregation in electricity markets.
The complete list of my publications is available here.
