About Me

I'm a research associate at Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell'Informazione (Università degli Studi di Siena), where I'm a member of the Artificial Intelligence Research Group.

Research Interests

My general research area is Artificial Intelligence, with special emphasis on machine learning. My work focuses on statistical learning methods using graphical models. In particular, I'm working on Bayesian networks, Markov random fields, and a hybrid Bayesian/Markov network model which I'm currently developing. I'm also interested in inference algorithms for probabilistic graphical models, and applications to feature selection, pattern recognition, and link prediction.
