About Me

Born the 23th of July 1988 in Siena, Italy.

B.S. degree in Computer Engineering (focus on Robotics and Industrial automation) in 2011 from the University of Siena with a thesis entitled "Implementation of a controller for an inverted pendulum using Arduino".

M.S. degree in Computer Engineering con lode (focus on Robotics and Industrial automation) in 2014 from the University of Siena with a thesis entitled "Tracking systems for the human hand".

Ph.D. degree in Automatic Control and Robotics in July 2016 from the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Siena and the Department of Advanced Robotics of the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (advisor: Prof. Domenico Prattichizzo, co-advisor: Prof. Darwin Caldwell).

My main research interests include robotics, human guidance, and tracking.

Education

From 2018 Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Information Engineering and Mathematics of the University of Siena (Siena, Italy).

Ph.D. degree in Automatic Control and Robotics in July 2018 from the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Siena and the Department of Advanced Robotics of the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (advisor: Prof. Domenico Prattichizzo, co-advisor: Prof. Darwin Caldwell).

My research activity is mainly focused on:

Human Guidance;

Wearable Sensing and Tracking;

Wearable Haptic.
