Short biography: In September 2005, I received the laurea degree in Computer Engineering (cum laude) from the Department of Information Engineering, University of Siena, Italy.
In October 2005, I began my Ph.D. program at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Siena, in the area of dynamic systems, control and robotics.
From October 2007 to March 2008, I held a visiting position at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of California, Santa Barbara, under the supervision of prof. Francesco Bullo.
In March 2009, I received the Ph.D. degree in Robotics and Automation from the University of Siena.
Current position: Postdoctoral fellow at University of Siena, since January 2009. Advisor: prof. Domenico Prattichizzo.
Starting from October 2009, I will hold a postdoc position at Department of Mechanical Engineering, Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, under the supervision of prof. Kevin Lynch.
Research interests: multi-agent systems, formation control, geometric control theory, vision-based control, computer vision.
